Q: Can I place an order if I don't have an account?

A: Yes, anyone can place an order on our web store with a credit card. The order can be picked up at one of our stores, or shipped to you.

Q: Are there any advantages to having an account?

A: Yes, setting up an account – whether COD or charge - with us has several advantages:

-          Simplify the checkout process: you won’t have to enter your information every time.

-          Allow you to view your orders, accounting information, and more online.

-          Set up product groups and custom part numbers. Existing customer numbers and product groups are loaded onto the web store automatically.

-          Allows us to get your company on pricing contracts where possible.

Q: My pricing doesn’t look correct, what’s going on?

A: Typically the issue is that the user is not logged in, and is seeing pricing that does not reflect their contract levels. Click Here for Login Information

Q: What is the Cutoff time for next day delivery?

A: Orders can be placed 24/7, and we will make every effort to process your order as quickly as possible. Will Call orders placed after hours will be picked the next morning. Q: Can I have my username and password saved?

A: Our web store will remember your username if you wish. For security purposes, we do not remember users’ passwords. Most internet browsers can be set up to remember passwords.   Please see Saving Site Credentials for more information.

Q: Can I search by a “slang” or “industry” term?

A: Yes. We aim to make product searches as smooth as possible. Many common industry slang terms – such as “11B Box” - have been added to our system. If you have an industry slang term that doesn’t yield the correct results on our site, we’d love to hear from you. Please drop us a line at webmaster@unitedelectric.com.

Q: Can I search by my part number?

A: Yes. When you are logged in to our site, you can search by your custom part numbers in the search box at the top of the page, or using the Quick Order Pad.

Q: Can I view United’s site and place orders through my phone?

A: Yes, our site has been optimized for mobile viewing. This is especially useful for research at a jobsite or looking up product availability at a glance.

Q: Can I send United a question, comment, or suggestion?

A: Yes, customer feedback and preferences are very important to us, and we take information sent in very seriously.
