When you call, you have the opportunity to leave a message describing your comment,
suggestion, or concern.
Each message is reviewed by United's
Director of Quality and The ISO Team who analyze each "opportunity for
improvement" and then coordinate action needed to prevent the problem from recurring.
Many times this involves studying the existing work process to determine what caused the
problem to occur and then making whatever changes are needed. The changes may involve
retraining an employee or actually changing how a job should be done. The ISO Team
members, representing each operational area of United, work together to implement the
corrective actions needed. All corrective action is then monitored by the ISO Team to
ensure a positive outcome. The desired results are always improved, efficient customer
service. A team member then contacts our customer to bring them up-to-date on what action
was taken.
United's ISO Team was initially formed in
1992 to lead the effort to achieve ISO 9002 Certification. In December 1993, they sailed
past this goal with ease! The Team has since remained together and now supervises United's
compliance to the ISO 9002 Standards. Their efforts are evident in the excellent service
our customers rely on.
