Product Groups

		The United Electric Product Groups

			In order to best serve our customers, United Electric's products and services are divided into six groups. Each of these Product Groups is staffed with Product Specialists and Sales Engineers who provide consulting, application, design, and training assistance in their particular product area. A brief description of each of our product groups appears below, or you may see more detailed information by selecting a particular product group from the menu on the left. The Industrial Automation Division (IAD) United Electric Supply’s Industrial Automation Division is staffed by engineers who specialize in Programmable Controllers, Operator Interface Products, Networking, Supervisory Software, Drives and Power Conditioning Equipment. Our engineers are capable of providing application assistance, technical support, and product training. Our Industrial Automation Training Centers serve as local authorized Square D Automation Training facilities and as regional state-of-the-art showrooms. Customers, as well as our engineers, can simulate their applications using the actual equipment in order to test the performance and the capabilities of the systems. United Electric Supply’s Industrial Automation Division is unique in its technical sales/support ability. Back to Top The Lighting Division The Lighting Group The Lighting Group uses the latest innovations in equipment and techniques to develop lighting solutions that are practical, attractive and energy efficient. Our specialists provide lighting needs analysis, project management, and design and application assistance. We will provide project cost evaluations, and keep you informed of programs to assure affordability at all price and quality levels. The Energy Savings Group This department was designed to answer your questions and make recommendations on ways to increase your energy efficiency through lighting. The group performs energy audits and calculations, rebate studies, lighting design and training. The department manager has EPA Green Lights Surveyor Ally certification. Back to Top The Wire, Cable, and Conduit Division The Wire and Cable Group manages the wire and cable inventory, from basic building wire to sophisticated telecommunications and multi-conductor instrumentation cables. We will cut, stage and parallel even the longest cables to your specifications. The Data Comm Group United Electric Data Comm, the data communication division of United Electric Supply, provides the voice, data and fiber optic products and services you need for projects large or small. Count on our 40 years of experience and cutting-edge data communications expertise to provide you with consultation, application and training assistance. The Gear and Control Division The Distribution and Control Group assists the customer with layout, design and product selection for industrial distribution and control equipment. Our expert staff can designate a complete system from your blueprints, or work-up a quote based on your material specifications. This department can assist your customers with the following services: Project take-off of switchgear; Project quotation; Product application; Technical assistance; Product substitution; Order placement; Order expediting; Product modification; Project design/layout; Project budgeting. The Electro-Mechanical Division The Electro-Mechanical division is the "glue" that holds the electrical industry together. Everything from wire connectors, receptacles and tools to batteries, tie wraps and grounding equipment - we've got it all.
