George Vorwick promoted to CEO

New Castle, DE – United Electric Supply Company recently announced the promotion of George H. Vorwick, Jr. to the position of Chief Executive Officer. George succeeds Thomas B. Cloud, who retired after 36 years with the company. George has 30 years of business experience in sales and management in the electrical wholesale industry. Since joining United Electric Supply in 2000 George has held a number of positions including Branch Manager, Sales Manager, and Regional Vice President of Sales all in the Maryland, District of Columbia and Northern Virginia region.

George serves on the Board of Directors for United Electric Supply. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for St. Mary’s School in Annapolis, Maryland, and chairs both the Strategic Planning Consultant Selection Steering Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee.
